The FITB held a C Coaching seminar in Ústí nad Labem in the Czech Republic on January 30th to 31st. Most of the participants were from Czech Republic with the notable exception of a Polish player taking a 10 hour trip for the qualification and take it back to his country!
The aim of the course was to hold a seminar before the European Tchoukball Championships in the Czech Republic this August. The FITB often meets with the hosts before an event in order to support the performance of the host country in the competition.
The Cezch hosts arranged the C Coaching Seminar in the stadium of Univerzita Jana Evangelisty Purkyně at Ústí nad Labem, Czech Republic. At the beginning of the seminar, The FITB President Chris Huang introduced the history of Tchoukball together with a short introduction to the FITB and its work. After the presentation, Mr Huang ran the training. Despite a relatively short visit of two days for the course, the participants still learnt many precious techniques and experiences.
Thanks for organising the event go to the President of Czech Republic Tchoukball Association, Stepan Vele, and Ladislav Blaha, the pioneer who promoted Tchoukball at the beginning in the Czech Republic. Thanks also to the Secretary of of the Association, Mrs. Pavlina for a well-organized and friendly reception for us and also for their amazing hard-work promoting Tchoukball in the Czech Republic.
