Asian Youth Tchoukball ChampionshipsThe 4th Asia Pacific Youth Tchoukball Championships (APYTC) was hosted by Taiwan in Taoyuan City from 19 to 21 August, 2016. 34 teams from 8 countries participated in the competition: China, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Republic of China, Singapore, and Thailand.

There were six categories in the APYTC 2016: M12 Boys, M12 Girls, M15 Boys, M15 Girls,  M18 Boys, and M18 Girls. The APYTC champions of each category were Republic of China. The M12 Boys 2nd place went to Singapore, and the 3rd place went to Malaysia. The M12 Girls 2nd place went to Singapore and the 3rd place went to Malaysia. The M15 Boys 2nd place went to Macau, and the 3rd place went to Singapore. The M15 Girls 2nd place went to Singapore, and the 3rd place went to Philippines. The 18 Boys 2nd place went to Macau, and 3rd place went to Singapore. The 18 Girls 2nd place went to Singapore, and the 3rd place went to Macau.

The competition was a great success with all the athletes putting in their best effort. George Chou, President of the APTBF said:

It is important to for teams to learn from each other in matches. By coming together and playing competitions such as this, we promote Tchoukball together. This is another of the great educational aspects of Tchoukball."

He hoped that all the athletes had built up good relationships between each other in the matches. The APTBF President also appreciated that the organiser's hard-work that had made the competition proceed so smoothly.
