FITB President Chris Huang was recently awarded the Best Presentation award at the International Conference on Education Sciences (ICES) in The Netherlands. Chris's research into the promotion, development, ethics and science of play within tchoukball has been gained over the last 20 years as a keen student of the sport.
Tchoukball came to beautiful Sri Lanka recently as Tchoukball Sri Lanka Coordinators Wijeanama Wijesingh and Jonathan Wijeasingh invited Faisal Asad, Joint Secretary of the Pakistan Tchoukball Federation and FITB development representative, to Sri Lanka from 26 May to 1 June 2016. Promotional activities were organised in 3 different districts of Sri Lanka: Galle, Matra and Kandy.
The European Tchoukball Championship for 2016 took place in central Europe in Jičín, Czech Republic from 2nd to 7th August 2016. 4 playing days full of thrilling games brought many great tchoukball moments and experience to all participants. 9 countries participated in the men's category and 8 in the women's category. Together over 250 players came to play their best tchoukball to win the title of European Champions.
